Her Forming by Her̀tunbí

There’s something special about women coming together in one room with shared intention. After months of building Hertunbi as a community and vision, we finally hosted our first physical event and it was everything we hoped it would be and more.

We created space for real conversations, shared experiences, and practical learning. Women openly talked about their goals, their fears, their wins, and the things they’re still figuring out. It reminded us that no one is alone in their journey.

There were moments of laughter, moments of reflection, and many “me too” moments that made the room feel safe and genuine.

One of the most powerful parts of the gathering was goal-setting. Together, we paused to intentionally think about the year ahead, what we want to build, who we want to become, and the steps we need to take to get there.

Writing down goals in a room full of women who are also dreaming, planning, and pushing forward felt powerful. The energy was hopeful, focused, and inspiring.

Also, beyond the learning and planning, the connections formed were truly special. New friendships were made, ideas were exchanged, and collaborations were sparked. Seeing women support and encourage one another reminded us why Hertunbi exists in the first place.

Moving forward, this will become a yearly ritual for the Hertunbi community at the beginning of every year: a moment to pause, reflect, connect, and set the tone together.

We left the room inspired, energized, and grateful. And this is only the beginning.
